National Library Week 2024 THEME: -"Ready, Set, Library!"

The theme for National Library Week 2024, "Ready, Set, Library!" 

What it means: The theme encourages people to explore, become inspired, and connect with their library. It's a reminder that libraries are always available to connect people to their communities, new skills, and resources. 

National Library Week is celebrated from 14^th-20^th November every year. Special morning assembly programmes and different competitions are organized in connection with National Library Week. On this auspicious occasion some presentations related to the library, has been presented by the students and teachers in Morning Assembly as well as library with the help of Reader’s Club. The celebration of National Library Week is a way to promote the joy of reading, appreciate the importance of the library services among children by bringing their school libraries into the spotlight.

Ayyanki Venkata Ramanaiah, who is recognized as “The Architect of Public Library

Movement in India”, states that the 1912 meeting in Madras led to the forming of the Indian Library Association. The ILA is said to have declared 14 November as the National Library Day since 1968. 14^th to 20^th November is being celebrated as the National Library Week all over India and various programs are held to enhance readers’ awareness about libraries.

CELEBRATION OF CHILDEN'S DAY BY SCOUT, GUIDE, CUB AND BULBUL IN VIDYALAYA

 A grand celebration of Children's day was held in PM Shri KV CRPF Gandhinagar on 14th November 2024.

All CUB, BULBUL, SCOUT AND GUIDES of Vidyalaya took part in the drawing competition.

Under PM SHRI: Highlights from Reading Promotion Week-2

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya KV CRPF Gandhinagar recently celebrated Reading Promotion Week from October 24 to 31, 2024. This initiative, part of the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India program, aimed to inspire a love for reading among students through a variety of engaging activities.

Key Activities:

• Book Exhibition: The week began with a vibrant display of books, encouraging students to explore different genres.

• Bookmark Design Contest: Students showcased their creativity by designing bookmarks, which were later printed and distributed in the library.

• Essay Writing Competition: Participants reflected on their favorite books, enhancing their writing and analytical skills.

• Book Review Writing Competition: Students summarized and analyzed their readings, deepening their appreciation for literature.

• Quiz Competition: A fun, interactive way to test knowledge of books and authors, promoting teamwork.

• Book-Making Competition: Students expressed their storytelling talents by creating short stories and comics.

• Hindi Story or Poem Telling Contest: The week concluded with a celebration of Hindi literature, showcasing students' public speaking skills.

Reading Promotion Week was a great success, marked by enthusiastic participation and creativity. Thank you to all the students for making this event memorable under the PM SHRI initiative!

स्काउट्स और गाइड्स - झंडा दिवस समारोह 2024

7 नवंबर 2024  को स्काउट्स और गाइड्स विभाग, केंद्रीय विद्यालय सीआरपीएफ गांधीनगर द्वारा बीएसजी, केवीएस राज्य द्वारा दिए गए गाइड लाइन के अनुसार बहुत ही भव्य तरीके से स्थापना सह झंडा दिवस मनाया गया।  कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत में प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया गया। इसके बाद स्काउट गाइड

ने मिलकर  किया। इस अवसर पर स्काउटिंग के जन्मदाता लार्ड बेडेन पावेल के चित्र पर विद्यालय के मुख्य अध्यापक केविन पटेल एवं वरिष्ठ शिक्षक चैतन्य कुमार शुक्ला  द्वारा माल्यार्पण किया गया तथा सभी स्काउट मास्टर, गाइड कैप्टन, कब मास्टर व फॉक लीडर द्वारा भी लार्ड बेडेन की तस्वीर पर पुष्प अर्पित किए गए। इस अवसर पर स्काउट मास्टर प्रिंस कुमार ने स्काउट गाइड के इतिहास व महत्व के बारे में जानकारी दी।  

तृतीय सोपान में उत्तीर्ण स्काउट एवं गाइड को प्रमाण पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया।
झंडारोहण कार्यक्रम स्काउट मास्टर पलक कछिया के नेतृत्व में किया गया। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन
स्काउट गाइड प्रभारी, केंद्रीय विद्यालय सीआरपीएफ गांधीनगर अमिता परमार  द्वारा किया गया।
इस अवसर पर सभी प्रशिक्षित स्काउट मास्टर, गाइड कैप्टन, कब मास्टर व फॉक लीडर महावीर
साहू, केतन राठौड़, जगदीश बरांडा , स्नेहा चौहान, रेखा कुमावत, नीता परमार, सरिता दुबे उपस्थित
रहें।
